Gerónimo Ramos

Brief Biography

Gerónimo Ramos, most likely a native of Llerena (Badajoz province), was the son of Ruy Martín and Leonor Ramos. If so, then Gerónimo first went to Cartagena with Junco in 1535. He was present at the 1540 muster as an unassigned horseman. Gerónimo may be related to fellow expeditionary Juan de Ramos.
